Khmer Angkor Ceramics Pottery Workshop

Shape and glaze your own piece on the wheel with a local ceramic artist.

At a working ceramics studio just outside town, a potter walks guests through the basics of centering clay and shaping it on the wheel, drawing on forms and glazes rooted in old Khmer pottery traditions. Guests make one or two small pieces of their own - a cup or a small bowl - with the potter guiding their hands at each stage. Finished pieces are fired and glazed after the class and can be collected or shipped later, since drying and firing take a few days.
